Financial Systems Specialist

As a Financial Systems Specialist, you will support and improve our financial systems by troubleshooting issues, streamlining processes, and identifying opportunities for automation. You'll collaborate with various teams to enhance workflows, implement solutions, and ensure our systems operate efficiently. What you’ll do:

• Managing and resolving system issues efficiently while continuously seeking opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Collaborating with system owners and cross-functional teams to identify and execute process optimization initiatives.
• Designing and implementing solutions to improve workflows and support scalability.
• Developing comprehensive documentation and training materials to support system usage and automation initiatives.
• Proactively identifying user needs and system enhancements to improve the end-user experience.
• Ensuring compliance with audit and control requirements while introducing new tools and processes.

Who you are:

• At least 3 years of experience working with financial systems, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Strong technical aptitude, with an interest in or experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• A Bachelor's degree in (Business) Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with financial tools such as NetSuite, Coupa, NSPB/PBCS, or Concur is a plus.
• A proactive mindset with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team.
• A passion for problem-solving and a desire to develop technical skills further.
