Identity and Access Management Engineer

Optiver’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team functions to enable and secure our employees by minimizing friction, increasing automation, and improving the user experience. While working closely with our Enterprise, Trading and Business Teams, you will help establish, automate, and build end-to-end IAM solutions. To enable our ambitious goals, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our technology remains reliable and optimised to suit our business needs.

 

What you’ll do:

You will build core internal IAM and user authentication processes and work closely with both technical and business oriented stakeholders across the firm. To ensure our internal user processes are optimized and secure, you will defineand implement procedures and automated processes for onboarding, offboarding, and transfers across the global enterprise environment.

Our collaborative environment means you’ll partner with HR, Compliance, Risk, and other members of Technology to ensure adherence to internal policies and meet regulatory compliance.

You will develop SDLC patterns and other automations within AWS and on-premise infrastructure to better enable Optiver IAM processes. You will act as an IAM evangelist within the firm to promote and implement IAM best practices.

No two days are the same as you will implement new solutions, solve ad-hoc technical problems, and manage data reliant systems that are crucial for security and success of all of our global business areas.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing workforce IAM solutions according to best practices
  • Experience developing custom workflows, connectors, rules, and policies in IGA solutions such as the SailPoint ISC platform
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as Okta
  • Experience implementing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
  • Hands on understanding with managing and provisioning user accounts within Microsoft Active Directory and/or Entra
  • Proven capabilities developing solutions with at least one scripting language (e.g. PowerShell and/or Python)
  • Ability to deconstruct and communicate technical problems with non-technical groups and third parties
  • Experience leading cross-organizational technical initiatives
