ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apes Fintech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader that is multi-disciplined across technical sales, product development and marketing, and system implementation and delivery. The Senior Director, Fintech Product & Sales Engineering will join our dynamic retail team specifically focused on the Fintech line of business to help grow market share and support the strategic direction of Sales, Implementation, Product, and Product Marketing.  This role will design and scale Apex’s ability to market, sell, implement, and grow the Apex product stack and cloud based infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and program definition for scaling the value proposition of our cloud solutions to financial institutions and technology companies, building strong relationships with clients, and driving successful cloud adoption.

  • Technical Sales Leadership and Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and align them with our cloud solutions. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to prospective customers initially and grow/scale this program overtime.

  • Solution Presentations: Conduct persuasive and insightful product demonstrations and presentations to financial industry prospects. Clearly communicate the technical advantages of our cloud offerings and how they address specific business challenges.

  • Clearly demonstrate the use of cloud-based API’s to showcase end-to-end user journey’s with the help of common testing and prototyping tools to assist in the sales process for the purpose of automating and scaling this messaging overtime.

  • Client Engagement: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, IT managers, and other relevant stakeholders. Understand their unique needs and pain points to tailor solutions effectively.

  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to gather technical and business requirements and translate them into actionable cloud solutions that will help define and influence Apex’s larger product roadmap.

  • Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Develop and deliver PoCs to showcase the capabilities of our cloud solutions, effectively addressing client needs and concerns.

  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architectures, implementation plans, and project timelines as a base-line for standards at Apex for the purpose of scaling this messaging through sales and business development teams.

  • Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' offerings. Conduct regular competitive analysis to position our cloud solutions effectively in the fintech market.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide valuable customer feedback, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation of our cloud offerings.

  • Post-Sales Support: Assist in the successful onboarding and implementation of cloud solutions for clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.

  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for internal teams, ensuring they have a deep understanding of the cloud solutions and can effectively address client inquiries.

  • Partner with Sales on pipeline management, internal sales reporting, and overall pipeline strategy.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.

  • 5+ years transferable work experience, preferably in cloud sales, financial technologies, business development, product, account management, or custody and clearing

  • Demonstrated success in the support of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, SaaS models, and cloud-based infrastructure specific to the securities industry

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.

  • The ability to lead conversations with decision makers and clearly articulate the value-add of leveraging Apex’s cloud-based solutions.

  • Desire to grow and lead teams in the future with similar skill sets.
