ABOUT THIS ROLE

Job Title: Fintech Product & Sales Engineer

Locations: Dallas, NYC, Chicago, Austin

Job Summary: Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual that is multi-disciplined across technical sales, product development and marketing, and system implementation and delivery. The Fintech Product & Sales Engineer will join our dynamic retail team specifically focused on the Fintech line of business to help grow market share and support the strategic direction of our Sales Engineering team. This role will support and scale Apex’s ability to market, sell, implement, and grow the Apex product stack and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary support to scale the value proposition of our cloud solutions to financial institutions and technology companies, building strong relationships with clients, and driving successful cloud adoption.
  • Technical Sales Leadership and Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and align them with our cloud solutions. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to prospective customers.
  • Solution Presentations: Conduct persuasive and insightful product demonstrations and presentations to financial industry prospects, communicating the technical advantages of our cloud offerings and how they address specific business challenges.
  • Clearly demonstrate the use of cloud-based API’s to showcase end-to-end user journey’s with the help of common testing and prototyping tools to assist in the sales process for the purpose of automating and scaling this messaging overtime.
  • Prospect Engagement: Understand the unique needs of key prospect decision makers, documenting requirements to tailor solutions effectively. These requirements will also help define and influence Apex’s broader product roadmap
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architectures, implementation plans, and project timelines as a base-line for standards at Apex for the purpose of scaling this messaging through sales and business development teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide valuable customer feedback, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation of our cloud offerings.
  • Post-Sales Support: Assist in the successful onboarding and implementation of cloud solutions for clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for internal teams, ensuring they have a deep understanding of our cloud solutions and can effectively address client inquiries post-sales.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead conversations with decision makers and clearly articulate the value-add of leveraging cloud-based solutions.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
  • 2+ years of transferable work experience, preferably in cloud sales, financial technologies, business development, product management, or custody and clearing.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, SaaS models, and cloud-based infrastructure

Work Environment

  • This role will be located in Dallas, Austin, or NYC, and will be in office 3 days/week, optional remote 2 days/week.
  • This role will require up to 20% travel for client meetings and industry events
