Responsibilities and what you will do all day:

  • Design and lead a feedback group of advisory firms and advisory technology partners who are aligned with our advisory strategy to solicit feedback on our offering, direction, product priorities, and go to market plans
  • Support General Manger of Advisory and Advisory team on executive updates, progress reporting, business line reporting and strategic presentations
  • Lead a strategic initiative to educate the educate the Apex organization on key advisory client personas, conducting research and educating the organization on the needs and preferences of these personas
  • Collaborate across cross functional business lines including operations, service, compliance, finance, technology, revenue operations and onboarding to ensure processes and procedures have been established and refine to support each persona
  • Document key conversations, takeaways, and drive sequencing and follow up of next steps to ensure progress is made toward developing these procedures
  • Serve as the liaison between our product organization on prioritization of key initiatives and advisory needs to ensure we are competitive
  • Collaborate with product team on articulating product requirements
  • Ensure that our advisory strategy is well understood internally and connected to other initiatives taking place within Apex (Internally, a well-articulated and communicated strategy ensures that the whole organization is on the same page and that we are working on what matters. Externally, it gives our customers and prospects visibility and confidence in our future Advisory plans)
  • Liaison with key technology partners on creating training and onboarding materials to support successful client relationships
  • No matter how experienced, we are looking for someone who is continuously learning and open to taking new approaches and learning from colleagues

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects / performing chief of staff type work within the advisory custody industry
  • Strong proven demonstrated success managing projects and exceeding deadlines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of RIA landscape, custodial technology, and advisory and custodial workflows
  • Demonstrated success working cross functionally within an organization and exceeding business expectations
  • Position requires 25%+ time for travel (We are a distributed company)
