The Franchise Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving franchise expansion efforts. This position is responsible for identifying and nurturing prospective franchise partners, developing persuasive sales strategies, and fostering relationships that lead to successful franchise sales. As a Franchise Sales Consultant, you will serve as a key point of contact for potential franchisees, guiding them through the sales process, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the franchise network.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Franchise Prospecting: Identify and assess potential franchise candidates and territories, conducting market research to identify growth opportunities.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and business plans to achieve and surpass franchise sales targets.

Lead Generation: Proactively generate and qualify franchise leads through outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.

Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with prospective franchisees, addressing inquiries, providing information, and guiding them through the franchise application and purchase process.

Negotiation & Deal Closure: Collaborate with internal teams to structure franchise agreements, negotiate terms, and ensure a smooth closing process for franchise sales.

Support & Training: Work closely with franchisees to provide onboarding support, training, and resources to ensure a successful launch and operation.

Tools and Reporting Responsibilities: Utilize CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and reporting mechanisms to manage leads, opportunities, and sales performance. Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate progress and opportunities to senior management.

Decision Making Authority:

  • Determine viable franchise markets, territories, and ideal candidates for expansion.
  • Propose adjustments to sales strategies based on market trends and performance analysis.
  • Make decisions related to lead prioritization and resource allocation for maximum impact.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven track record of successful franchise sales, preferably in a related industry.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and delivering persuasive sales presentations.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closure abilities, with a firm understanding of legal and financial aspects of franchise agreements.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in franchise sales, business development, or related roles
  • High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related field preferred

Work Environment:

This role typically operates within an office environment, but may require travel to industry events, conferences, and potential franchise markets. Collaboration with internal teams and remote work capabilities are integral to the role's success

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve extended periods of computer-based work, including sitting and engaging in conversations. Travel may require standing, walking, and carrying materials for presentations and events.
