The Middle Office Technology Team supports trade processing, position keeping, and trade management systems. The team partners with Middle Office business users to customize and implement solutions supporting trade processing scale and stability.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with business stakeholders to design, develop and maintain reliable software solutions
- Deliver software enhancements and projects supporting Point72’s new business requirements
- Continuously improve the platforms, using the latest technologies and software development ideas
- Develop close working relationships with other technology teams in the firm to advance cross team initiatives
- Be responsible for system upgrades and features supporting resiliency and capacity improvements, automation, and controls, as well as integration with other applications
- Work with Support teams to manage and resolve operational issues
- Collaborate with teams to deliver the highest quality products to our clients
What’s required
- 7+ years of programming experience with Java or C#
- Strong SQL development & debugging experience with relational database
- Good knowledge of OOPs concepts
- Good knowledge of unit testing practices
- Experience with messaging frameworks
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
