What you will do
We are seeking a highly motivated team player to fulfill a key role of Integrations Engineer / Developer within our Enterprise Applications team. You will be responsible for executing the platform strategy and roadmap as well as the ongoing support, development, and maintenance of the Enterprise Applications integration modules in partnership with business teams including HR and Finance.
Specifically, you will:
- Be responsible for the full lifecycle of designing, building, testing, and supporting systems integrations within the Enterprise Applications portfolio, including Workday Studio, web services (SOAP, REST APIs), EIB, Core Connectors, and other programs
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams including Recruiting and Payroll along with other key stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities for automation and drive the integration architecture and roadmap
- Effectively collaborate with other members of the Enterprise Applications team to align efforts and develop/execute tactical plans
- Analyze the existing environment to detect critical architecture/design deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Build enterprise solutions that add business value using best-in-class integration tools/platforms
- Collaborate with the broader architecture community to provide input into strategies and standards, ensure solution reuse, leverage and to eliminate solution redundancy
- Create accurate and clear technical documentation; develop support processes and procedures
What is required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with minimum 4 years' experience with Workday developing integration solutions and reports
- Solid work experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors
- Hands-on knowledge in architecting and developing with SOAP / REST web services, open API development, design patterns and BIRT reports
- Experience building integration solutions with enterprise applications such as Workday HCM and Financials, Greenhouse, and Salesforce
- Preferred prior experience with implementing iPaaS technologies (Mulesoft,Dell Boomi, Workato, Appian) and SQL DB
- Proficient in the Agile SDLC development with knowledge of EAI/SOA best practices, development methodologies & standards
- Experience troubleshooting, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools
- Strong communication skills to continuously facilitate information-sharing about concerns, changes, processes, and explanations across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and users
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems
