The Point72 Compliance department is an industry-leading team of compliance professionals who support global investment and trading activities by establishing and enforcing the firm’s compliance policies, providing real-time advice, and conducting pre- and post-trade surveillance. What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Compliance Officer who is solution oriented and proactive to join our European team. You will partner with your fellow compliance professionals and work closely with Point72’s investment professionals and others across the firm. Specifically, you will:
- Provide ongoing advice to investment professionals and back-office personnel
- Deal with trading queries and restricted list management
- Review and approve requests in accordance with the firm’s Code of Ethics policies
- Assist with position monitoring and disclosure notifications as required
- Assist with maintaining the European compliance infrastructure and adherence with the Compliance Monitoring Program
- Participate in staff training
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and help improve and refine the firm’s policies and procedures
What’s Required
- 5-7 years of buy-side experience, including at a multi-strategy firm
- Strong understanding of the UK and European regulatory environment
- Motivation and initiative to work independently and make decisions autonomously when called upon to do so
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals at all levels and provide time-sensitive guidance confidently and decisively
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong academic background: legal or financial related degree preferred
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
