What you’ll do
As a Research Tools developer you will develop the industry’s best in class product suite for Investment Professionals. You’ll work with other engineers to architect solutions to problems driven by user requirements given through a methodical product process. As an application developer you’ll work in conjunction with our infrastructure, QA and Support departments to ensure we are delivering quickly and safely. Within the team, you’ll work with high quality teammates and perform code review and ideation sessions for new solutions to challenging problems.
• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using ASP.net Core, C# Web API, and related technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using best practices for web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to development processes and software architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Describing client service contracts and/or implementing the UI in conjunction with our dedicated UI development team
• Communicating with internal systems and services, external web services to acquire and distribute content
What’s required
• At least 5 years of experience in ASP.net CORE and C# Web API development.
• Proficient in creating RESTful services using C#.net, ASP.net Web APIs
• Knowledge of IIS and SQL Server is required.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular JS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
