The Investor Relations team is a high energy group that is responsible for raising funds from external investors to support the firm’s capital management plan and for maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s existing investors. We are the first point of contact for investors and also interact with senior management, internal teams, and external partners such as the administrator, data providers, and consultants. Our team members are based in Stamford and New York, with frequent interaction with the firm’s offices in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo.

In this role, you’ll work with a dynamic group of people who are experts in their field, as an instrumental part of the firm’s growth. You’ll also be one of the firm’s key spokespersons for the investment strategy, products, and firm’s mission and values to current and prospective investors.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will support the Capital Development and IR team, by assisting with marketing materials, meeting briefs, investor requests, monthly commentaries, and ongoing data/analytics work. You will also engage directly with investors on an ongoing basis to manage due diligence inquiries. Specifically, you will:

  • Complete investor-facing materials that are comprehensive and transparent on an ongoing basis, which involves working closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of marketing materials
  • Create prep materials for investment team ahead of meetings and roadshows
  • Respond to investor due diligence inquiries and calls on an ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as prospective investor RFPs
  • Listen into investor and prospect calls/meetings and take notes
  • Liaise with the investment team to create and maintain updated client materials and detailed monthly commentaries
  • Assist in mapping out investor landscape, potential prospects, and specific regions ahead of road shows
  • Help management the capital activity pipelines for the hedge fund, private equity, and venture efforts
  • Help plan investor and team events

What’s required

  • 2-3 years of investment banking or similar experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects while prioritizing and staying on track
  • Ability to represent the firm and its management externally and internally with integrity, credibility and poise
  • Strong interpersonal skills – the candidate must be capable of building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Candidate will need to adhere and commit to the highest ethical standards
  • Acts like an owner – thinks creatively to build fund’s client business and is willing to make extra effort, take extra time, and travel to help the firm achieve its goals
  • Strong process and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The annual base salary range is $125,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
