What you’ll do
As a Java Developer, you will work on the Trading Technology team within the Equities Technology group to enhance the our order management system and deliver new business initiatives and technology for their clients including systematic portfolio managers, internal algorithmic trading teams, and Compliance.
Specifically, you will:
- Work with the team to extend our order management systems
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain efficient and reliable solutions in Java
- Help us support new business requirements, new instruments, and new markets
- Develop close working relationships and collaborate with other Technology teams to deliver cross-departmental initiatives
- Collaborate with QA and support teams to deliver the highest quality products to our clients
What’s required
- 7+ years of solid core Java development experience
- Financial industry experience building order management or market data systems
- Low-latency programming or high frequency trading experience
- Network programming experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
