Senior QA Automation Engineer

What you’ll do
- Test new products, features, and bug fixes in the functional areas of various applications through APIs of various flavors.
- Write automated and manual tests necessary to ensure the operation and correctness of new product features as well as overall system behavior (i.e., regression testing).
- Execute various phases of functional and nonfunctional testing to certify the quality of new software releases.
- Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new products and product features, with an eye toward testability.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Set-up and maintain testing environments.
- Prepare specific test scenarios.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Carry out Functional, Integration, Regression and Stress testing.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Analyze reported bugs and collaborate with business users, application support and developers to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
What’s required
- 5+ years of experience in software development, technical quality assurance, and automation skills.
- Experience with building custom automation scripts using Data driven / Keyword driven framework.
- Experience in building Test Automation framework for Web Applications using tools like Selenium, TestComplete , etc.
- The candidate should have development experience with background in any scripting language and associated test frameworks.
- Proactive personality with a proven track record of following through and delivering on responsibilities
- Good understanding of Capital Markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment and adherence to the highest ethical standards
