The Middle Office Technology Team supports trade processing, position keeping, and trade management systems. The team partners with Middle Office business users to customize and implement solutions supporting trade processing scale and stability
What you’ll do
The role is focused on collaboration with operations team and design team to create and modify applications software or specialized utility programs to meet the needs of our clients. Once the design is approved, you will oversee the installation of the program and troubleshoot any issues or bugs that arise. Especially, you will:
- Collaborate with IT team and business analysts to determine the scope and expectations of the project
- Produce clean, efficient code based on client specifications
- Integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Gather and evaluate user feedback and make adjustments as necessary
What’s required
The ideal candidate should have at least five years of professional experience in software development and an impressive portfolio of past work.
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or similar role
- Solid knowledge of Python and frameworks/systems (e.g. Git, Jenkins)
- Strong grasp on SQL ( DDL/DML ) .
- Familiar with technologies like AWS, PySpark, Databricks
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Extensive experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Relevant experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
- Able and willing to learn new languages and technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
