Software Engineer - SAP Commerce / Hybris

The Role

Where you fit in

As a Software Engineer – SAP Commerce, we’ll entrust you with designing and developing technical solutions meeting the IT project needs of the business. You will belong in a team who owns the design and development of technical solutions meeting the Shell’s IT project needs of the business. Your team will be entrusted to support the planning, development and use of middleware technologies and services for integrating systems and exposing, transporting, and consuming data in a secure and reliable manner across a hybrid of applications, services, and trading partners both on premise and in the Cloud

What’s your role

  • Responsible for developing SAP Commerce solutions

  • Formulate an implementation plan, prepare estimates for projects

  • Customizing Hybris framework like modules, cockpits, templates

  • Development experience in Promotions, Subscriptions is desired

  • Data modelling of SAP Commerce modules

  • Workflow development

  • Integration with 3rd party applications / web services / products / solutions

What we need from you

  • 5-13 years of total IT experience with at least 3 years in SAP Commerce

  • At least 2 full lifecycle Hybris development projects including personalization, Internationalization, order management, customer service, product content management, security, and site management

  • Strong experience with Java/J2EE technologies like JDBC, Spring, JSP and Java web services and Spartacus knowledge

  • Knowledge of source control tools like GitHub/Stash and build/CI tools like Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins/Hudson

  • Experience in Catalog Management, Promotions, OCC APIs and creation of Data Models

  • Hands on experience on Spring IOC, Spring AOP, Spring Security, Spring MVC and knowledge of SAP C/4 HANA cloud offering

  • Experience in developing RESTful services and using OCC API in Hybris

  • Experience in SAP Commerce, CCV2, Latest version, OCC, SOLR, Integration Objects, Hotfolder

  • Knowledge on payment integration and third-party payment gateways will add value

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases.

  • Knowledge in Linux systems environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • SAP Commerce Developer certification
