Trading systems are critical to our business and success. Building these systems involves some of the most demanding challenges in any industry and we use technology to give us an edge. The Sydney team in collaboration with the Global Technology teams, is responsible for delivering high performance applications used by traders for option market making and other related trading strategies.


As a Developer in the Trading systems team, you will be involved in the analysis and development of applications in a fast-paced Front Office trading environment.  This complex software includes a combination of client and server-side systems for quoting, order management, pricing, market data and related tools. You will work closely with the traders, quantitative analysts, compliance, and other technology teams to provide innovative solutions with a focus on high performance and scalability. You will see your ideas and hard work used by experienced traders across a range of markets and financial instruments.

What we're looking for



  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline (If you have equivalent technical experience instead, that will work too!)
  • 6 – 12 years of progressive experience developing software applications.
  • Strong C# development skills with knowledge of design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, user-interface development with experience on both the client & server side
  • Hands on experience developing large scale applications in C#.
  • A track record / knowledge / interest in areas of options, trading, risk, market data, exchange connectivity or trading systems development will be highly regarded
  • Solid experience in C++ on Windows or Linux is useful, but not essential.
  • A passion for new and creative solutions utilizing different technologies, platforms and languages
