Job Summary

 

The Lead DevOps Engineer will own in establishing the DevOps practices and tools at Targray. He/she will play a key role in designing and implementing/automating of development, test and production environments and services, establishing new operation management practices for servers and networks. He/she will also help in designing, implementing, and managing monitoring and alerting solutions, as well as be a key person in providing support.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Establish and implement DevOps Strategy, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Dependency Management, code and binary artefact management/versioning and Application Infrastructure.
  • Select and set up CI/CD pipeline tooling, infrastructure.
  • Research, plans, designs, implements, and supports existing and emerging infrastructure technologies in a complex environment.
  • Handles escalation of problems forwarded by team members by direction/mentoring or by resolution.
  • Load balancing / proxying / replicating of services, systems, components, and processes.
  • Maintain internal infrastructure, monitoring systems and a full Microsoft stack of servers.
  • Develops and maintains system-related documentation to facilitate implementation and/or adoption of system changes.
  • Automate and monitor ongoing system maintenance of servers including general server cleanup and system monitoring.
  • Coordinate with the stakeholders to get the applications deployed.


Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Overall 10 yr + experience in Information technology ( Developer, systems admin, Dev Ops )
  • 7-8 years of hands on experience in DevOps and DevSecOps tasks covering
  • Source code and binary artefact management products (e.g., Git/Github, Artefactory/Nexus,
  • CI/CD tools like Azure pipelines, github actions
  • Application deployment in Windows as well as containerized setup ( Docker/ Kubernetes)
  • Application and container monitoring, log analysis, health reporting (ELK/EFK etc)
  • Application-level security, configuration management
  • Have strong understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps, pipelines and automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and administration.
  • Strong ability to learn new technology independently and quickly.
  • Strong ability to research complex technological problems, formulate recommendations, and build technically sound and scalable solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in application infrastructure software like IIS/ web servers, TLS/SSL configuration
  • OS knowledge in Windows and Linux
  • Solid skills with programming languages such as PowerShell, Python.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

 

Assets

 

Experience with infrastructure tools like Ansible/ Terraform/puppet/chef, Rundeck, Octopus Deploy, Artifactory, Nexus, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL.
