What we are looking for

The Data Design Team is responsible for the Data Journey at Uniper, our activities are aimed at unlocking Data Potential and enabling Business Strategy of Uniper. 

As a data strategist you design and execute our Data Strategy at Uniper and drive our Data Journey.

You understand the business, yet know the technology and analytics well enough to leverage the best of three to tackle the Data challenges and drive Data initiatives.

You think strategy & are focused on business impact with the needed hands-on mentality to get things done.

You love to create out of ambiguous expectations and ambitions concrete data-driven initiatives & specific actions.

 

  • Develop and implement the Data strategy and respective roadmap, project outlines and detailed action plans for our Data Domains
  • Be a thought-partner for Business areas by bridging market trends to their specific challenges, dynamics, limitations & ambitions.
  • Knowing our Data at Uniper in different Data Domains and connect with Domain Owner
  • Act as expert on latest technology trends & products in the space of (big) data, analytics, ad-tech, machine learning and/or AI.
  • Work with external vendors and partner technologies to deliver Data Products on our Data Journey
  • Embrace project & team management aimed towards getting the job done. This will include working with data scientists, data engineers and business stakeholders
  • Be an on- and offline ambassador for the Data topics at Uniper

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • Your personality is key. We are looking for a proactive, resilient and dynamic candidate with excellent communication skills
  • A team player who can also work independently and effectively. Someone who enjoys working in a changing environment, brings in-depth expertise, and is eager to learn
  • You have at least five years of experience in relevant positions, in the energy industry would be a plus
  • Ability to apply and advise on current analytical and quantitative tools and modelling techniques to derive business insights, solve complex business problems and improve decisions
  • Passionate about technology incl. data, analytics, machine learning, AI and Ad-tech
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage complex dependencies
  • High intrinsic motivation to drive change and create impact within heterogeneous stakeholder groups
  • We are an international company with global reach. We expect fluency in English. German language skills are a plus
