Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an individual to join our QA team to help enhance the quality of our financial markets Trading System. 

In this role you will:
- Manually test enhancements to the Wolverine Trading Platform (WTP) User Interface (UI) and supporting back-end server applications.
- Implement our quality assurance process: create release candidates, release validated software, and organize educational initiatives.
- Design and execute manual regression tests using our TestRail test case repository.
- Provide other ad-hoc testing on an as-needed basis.

What You'll Do:

    • Work with development staff to gather test requirements and discover/diagnose defects.
    • Create and execute manual tests for both UI and back-end server applications.
    • Communicate test progress, test results, known risks, and other pertinent information to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

    • Organized, self-motivated, and dependable, with solid problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Four-year college degree required.
    • Financial industry familiarity required.
    • Two-plus years software quality assurance experience required.
    • We value experience with Windows, Excel, FIX, SQL, defect logging and documentation tools (Jira, TestRail, Confluence), and programming languages (C#, Python).
