Senior Accountant

WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a variety of asset classes and global markets. The Role:  The Finance organization is responsible for the accounting and financial management, as well as the control environment, for WorldQuant on a global basis. The team works closely with line managers, local accounting groups and advisors/consulting firms for affiliated offices around the world.
  • Manage financial operations of all US multi-state offices
  • Analyze and process accounts payable and all other financial activity
  • Assist with completion of global consolidated audit
  • Analyze company ledger accounts actual to budget, month over month, and annual trends
  • Become a knowledge center for all US financial activity and expense policies
  • Assist with project management activities, including development and maintenance of project schedules, tracking and mitigating risks, and communicating project status and quality targets
  • Maintain documentation, assist in efficiency initiatives for new business processes, construct workflow charts and diagrams
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced Excel skills are required and will be evaluated as part of the interview process
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including audits
  • Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Prior exposure in a multinational workforce culture is a plus
  • Knowledge of Workday general ledger and human resource system is a plus
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative with minimal direction
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
