The Role:
Our Finance Team is seeking an Accountant to support our Finance Manager in the following:
Review and process expense claims submitted by employees
Provide guidance and advice to employee’s claims queries
Review daily bank reconciliation and weekly aging accounts payable
Assist in answering ad hoc queries from Finance head office
Assist in month-end close process, including preparing of ad hoc journals to ensure timely closing
Help prepare monthly management reports
Work and collaborate with other departments including admin and HR to ensure accurate accounting practices
Review monthly payroll, including tax clearance for foreign employees (IR21) and annual tax return (Form IR8A)
Review GST submission
Handle existing workflows and find opportunities to improve efficiency
Assist in the review of financial reports and conduct budget v. actual v. forecasts analyses for office locations across Asia
What You’ll Bring:
Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma / ACCA / Currently pursuing ACCA from established universities
Minimum 2 years of proven experience with a strong foundation in accounting work
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Meticulous, detailed oriented and well-organized
Positive working demeanor and strong proficiency – able to adapt to an evolving environment
Work experience in a shared services team is an advantage
