Global Research Director Project Manager
WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. The Role: The GRD Project Manager will support our group of Global Research Directors with their critical day-to-day operational and executive work. The role includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of GRD related meetings focused and prioritized
- Working with other functions at WorldQuant to further GRD initiatives and programs
- Tracking action items and gathering notes for the weekly GRD meeting
- Collaborating with GRDs to develop and prioritizing business strategies
- Preparing data-driven updates via decks, graphs, etc.
What You’ll Bring:
- 2-5 years of experience in an analytical, data science, and/or project management role
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with a global team
- Background in data science, financial services or consulting is preferred, but not required
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree(s) from a leading university
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Python, C++ and/or SQL knowledge is a plus
- Basic database knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working with highly confidential information; must show the highest degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
