Global Research Director Project Manager
WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. The Role: The GRD Project Manager will support our group of Global Research Directors with their critical day-to-day operational and executive work. The role includes, but is not limited to the following:
Planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of GRD related meetings focused and prioritized
Working with other functions at WorldQuant to further GRD initiatives and programs
Tracking action items and gathering notes for the weekly GRD meeting
Collaborating with GRDs to develop and prioritizing business strategies
Preparing data-driven updates via decks, graphs, etc.
What You’ll Bring:
2-5 years of experience in an analytical, data science, and/or project management role
Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with a global team
Background in data science, financial services or consulting is preferred, but not required
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree(s) from a leading university
Outstanding attention to detail
Python, C++ and/or SQL knowledge is a plus
Basic database knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
Experience working with highly confidential information; must show the highest degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
