Senior Accountant
WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. The Role:
- You will be responsible for the financial operations of one or more global entities or departments
- Review and control entries to general ledgers, working in conjunction with local accounting staff
- Develop meaningful, productive relationships with business managers and support teams
- Analyze expenses actual-to-budget, month-over-month, and annual trend
- Assist with preparing monthly full-year expense forecasts and annual budget
- Prepare auditable IFRS and US GAAP financial statements
- Assist with financial statement audits and liaise with external auditors
- Analyze current global business processes, maintain documentation, assist in efficiency initiatives for new business processes, construct workflow charts and diagram
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of foreign currency accounting and reporting
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with attention to detail
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written English skills required
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and takes initiative with minimal direction
- Knowledge of Workday general ledger and human resource systems is a plus
- Prior exposure in a multi-international workforce culture is a plus
- CPA is a plus
