Senior Accountant
WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. The Role:
You will be responsible for the financial operations of one or more global entities or departments
Review and control entries to general ledgers, working in conjunction with local accounting staff
Develop meaningful, productive relationships with business managers and support teams
Analyze expenses actual-to-budget, month-over-month, and annual trend
Assist with preparing monthly full-year expense forecasts and annual budget
Prepare auditable IFRS and US GAAP financial statements
Assist with financial statement audits and liaise with external auditors
Analyze current global business processes, maintain documentation, assist in efficiency initiatives for new business processes, construct workflow charts and diagram
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Strong knowledge of foreign currency accounting and reporting
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with attention to detail
6+ years of relevant experience
Excellent oral and written English skills required
Strong leadership and organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivated and takes initiative with minimal direction
Knowledge of Workday general ledger and human resource systems is a plus
Prior exposure in a multi-international workforce culture is a plus
CPA is a plus
