Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Optiver's Enterprise Operations team enables our people to operate at peak efficiency, fostering seamless collaboration on an expanding array of global projects. Collaborating closely with our Enterprise, Trading and Business Teams, you will be helping the People and Public Facing teams by identifying and implementing optimal solutions, facilitating their productivity, and actively contributing to global application migrations within these domains. To enable our ambitious goals, you will play a vital role in establishing, automating, integrating and building end-to-end HRIS solutions for business operation needs.

What you’ll do:

As a Sr. HRIS Analyst within our Global People and Public Facing Applications team, you will be instrumental in maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our systems to align with our team's vision. You will primarily focus on our Workday tenant; however, support of additional People and Public Facing Systems may also be necessary. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of system functionality to configure and customize our applications (primarily Workday) in alignment with the evolving requirements of the organization.
  • Serving as a trusted consultant to various business units throughout the organization, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and providing strategic guidance on leveraging our systems (primarily Workday) to achieve their objectives.
  • Being actively involved in change, incident and problem management, own configuration best practices, product evolution planning for People and Public Facing applications (primarily Workday).
  • Evaluating feasibility of system modifications and enhancements.
  • Leading the planning, testing, and implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and new system integrations primarily within the Workday environment
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the People systems landscape, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency in data management processes.
  • Contributing to the development of best practices, documentation, and training materials to facilitate user adoption and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshooting issues, and offering comprehensive solutions to ensure seamless system usage.
  • Building business cases, onboarding third-party solutions and more – driving individual projects from initial planning through to management and success.
  • Engaging in a supportive learning environment where you'll receive mentorship and training to expand your knowledge.

Who you are:

  • A demonstrated background in software support, technical application usage and technical troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience in People systems management, including HRIS administration and support.
  • Proficiency in using systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, HubSpot and similar products.  Experience with Workday Performance and Absence functionality is necessary.
  • Project management  experience, including system upgrades and implementations.
  • Comprehensive or Extensive understanding of data privacy and security regulations related to employee data.
  • Proven experience in working with Agile methodologies, demonstrating expertise in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A pragmatic, logical thinker with a problem-solving and user-first mentality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Comfortable in collaborating with cross-functional teams on a global level.
