Experienced Equity Analyst

Are you an experienced equity analyst looking to join a competitive and fast changing environment? If so, you could be a perfect fit for our growing equity research team.

Our equity research team collaborate closely with our traders to provide real-time news analysis and fundamental research on industries and companies to help generate timely trade strategies, with a real-time feedback loop. As we look to double the number of symbols we trade within single-stock options, we are looking to hire experienced equity researchers who will make an instant impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Optiver trading floor is one of the most dynamic and exciting trading floors in Europe. As a market-leading equity option market maker we have access to large-scale flow that is drive by events and news.

As an Equity Researcher you will collaborate closely with our traders to identify and price trading opportunities through fundamental company, event and dividend analysis. You will work in a fast-paced environment providing a critical edge with your attention-to-detail analysis and ability to stay on top of the fast-changing news events.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Minimum of Bachelors degree and ideally CFA qualification
  • At least 2 years of Equity Research experience within a trading/options environment
  • Fluency in English and highly effective communication skills both orally and in writing
  • A strong interest in Equity derivatives
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills encompassing finance and valuation
  • Previous experience in analyzing corporate events
  • Experience in identifying emerging opportunities and risks
  • A pro-active, precise mind and a problem solving nature
  • A competitive attitude and eagerness to constantly develop
  • Familiarity with various research/database platforms
