ABOUT THIS ROLE

Technology Experience builds state-of-the-art people-centric solutions that transform and accelerate the PEAK6 portfolio. We operate important technology systems efficiently and securely while providing reliable products, services and data-driven analytics. We deliver a unified technology experience throughout the PEAK6 portfolio tailored where necessary to fit each business.

As an IT Operations Analyst within IT Operationsin Technology Experience, you will be instrumental in the experience of all our employees throughout the PEAK6 portfolio. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, is resourceful in their problem-solving skills and is able to think creatively. Our IT Operations  team is tasked with providing the firm with operational processes, project management, hardware support and IT logistics. Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, this individual will oversee the execution of daily activities encompassing multiple areas of responsibility. This includes hardware imaging, asset recovery, deskside hardware support, onboarding/offboarding customer equipment, technical research and project support. You will take on projects that will require clear communication and completion in a timely manner. We want someone who has a passion for setting the performance bar and thrives in an energetic team environment, while delivering a fully integrated solution that fits into one unified technology stack.

PEAK6 Technology Experience places emphasis on delivering white-glove customer service. Therefore, it is imperative for the IT Operations Analyst to place value on detail; but also, pair this with a sense of urgency for execution. Technology Experience is looking for people who have compassion and empathy for their teammates and a natural IT intuition who can work harder, faster and smarter while taking technical excellence to a whole new level.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Working with our IT Operations team to optimize our firm wide inventory platform.
  • Contribute to technical research, test hardware and software, share findings.
  • Be responsible for the provisioning of laptops using multiple images for multiple companies.
  • Ensure hardware onboarding and offboarding is efficient, customer focused and timely.
  • Prepare hardware to be shipped for repair, recycle or donation.
  • Manage bench stock inventory levels using our inventory platform and track accurately.
  • Providing project support within and external to the IT Operations department.
  • Write clear, concise documentation for team members in wiki tools (Confluence).
  • Evaluate and recommend new software platforms and services.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with asset management and inventory allocation.
  • Passion for technology and testing the limits of what is possible.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft, Smart Deploy, Mac MDM platforms such as JAMF and Kandji, including comprehensive knowledge of all applications and services within.
  • Experience with PC and Apple based products, video conferencing and peripherals
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and collaborative determination
  • Excellent documentation skills and strong organization habits
